As we prepare for the 2017/18 winter season we have refined the Ultimate Luxury Chalets portfolio and are excited to introduce the latest additions to our collection of luxury chalets. Chalet owners and operators are always raising the bar and pushing the boundaries of the modern luxury ski chalet. Here are the chalets we are most excited to share with you for this upcoming ski season.
Chalet Hidden Peak is the latest addition to our portfolio in Courchevel 1850, arguably the Mecca for luxury ski chalets. Available on the rental market for the very first time during the 2017/18 winter season.
Chalet Hidden Peak is part of Hotel Le K2’s private luxury chalet collection and sits in a prime ski in ski out location on the Cospillot piste. The chalet has 6 beautifully appointed bedrooms, 2 large reception rooms and in our opinion, one of the best wellness areas in Courchevel….quite a bold claim but we believe it’s most definitely up there.
Chalet Blossom Hill is the stand out luxury chalet in Courchevel Le Praz and is very deserving of it’s place in our Ultimate Luxury Chalets collection. We were lucky enough to visit this luxury chalet when we visited Courchevel at the end of last season and from our first few steps into the chalet we could tell that this was worthy of an Ultimate status.
Blossom Hill sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 wonderfully modern rooms, the master suite features an enormous bathroom with free standing bath and double walk in shower. Not to mention the extra curricular features of the chalet such as the depth adjustable pool, ideal for a luxury family ski holiday, the large cinema room and one of my personal favourite rooms the Savoyard room, here guests can enjoy authentic evenings in the true “Savoie” style with the raclette, fondue and pierrade sets.
Our latest luxury chalet in Megeve to gain the Ultimate status is Chalet My World. Situated in Combloux just 2 minutes from La Princesse ski lifts and 7 minutes away from the heart of Megeve via the chauffeur service provided with the chalet.
Chalet My World is in the region of 600m2 and is one of the more modern luxury chalets in Megeve. This chalet would be ideal for a luxury family ski holiday due to its wide open plan design. Chalet My World has 6 large spacious en-suite bedrooms and an additional quad bunk room meaning the chalet can sleep 12-16 guests. Chalet My World has a large heated indoor pool, hammam, treatment room and a fantastic cinema room.
Chalet Alpaca is the latest luxury chalet to grace the French resort of Meribel, nestled in the heart of the Three Valleys ski area (largest connected ski area in the world) and is arguably one one the premier luxury chalets in Meribel.
Chalet Alpaca was completed earlier this year and has been finished to the very highest standard. Everything has been well thought out in the chalet from the indoor climbing wall to the games room complete with pinball machine! Not to mention the outdoor area where you can lap on the sun on your large decking area before diving into the swimming pool or relaxing beneath the stars in the hot tub.
Chalet Alpaca features 5 lavish bedrooms all complete with spacious bathrooms, there is also a quad bunk room which can sleep 4 children with ease. If you’re looking to visit Meribel, Chalet Alpaca must not be overlooked.
We are very excited to announce that Chalet Elixir will be part of the Ultimate Luxury Chalets portfolio for this upcoming season. Chalet Elixir is in the region of 900m2 making it one of the larger luxury rental chalets in Courchevel.
Chalet Elixir is located just above the Cospillot area and is the neighboring chalet to La Grande Roche, which is one of the more well known luxury chalets in Courchevel. These could be rented together to accommodate large groups looking for the ultimate luxury experience. Chalet Elixir can welcome up to 13 guests across 6 exquisite en-suite rooms. If you chose Chalet Elixir for your luxury ski holiday you will be easily entertained in the chalet with the large cinema room and the incredible wellness floor all at your disposal.
The latest luxury chalet in Courchevel Moriond to feature in the Ultimate Luxury Chalets is Chalet Dolce Vita. Chalet Dolce Vita is arguably the premiere luxury chalet in Courchevel Moriond and for good reason! Dolce Vita is 600m2 of pure luxury, from the moment you walk in you are immediately immersed in modern luxury from head to toe.
The main feature of Chalet Dolce Vita is the wellness area, featuring a large indoor/outdoor swimming pool, sauna and bar area which is certainly going to be a big hit for those looking to party it up. Featuring 7 bedrooms Chalet Dolce Vita is perfect for larger groups looking for luxury chalet accommodation in Les 3 Valleys.
Chalet McKinley is part of the Seven Heavens development which is home to a number of new luxury chalets in Zermatt, with McKinley being the latest to be available on the rental market.
Chalet McKinley is spread across over four levels with the living area being on the top floor with provides stunning views across Zermatt towards the iconic Matterhorn. The wellness floor is located between the first and second floors and there is every feature you could wish for from your private in-chalet spa and wellness area.
Chalet McKinley sleeps 10 guests in 5 wonderfully spacious bedrooms each with their own private balcony giving guests a view to savour before getting ready for a long day of skiing in the Matterhorn Ski Paradise.
Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated luxury chalet to launch this winter is Chalet Joux Plane in Morzine. Chalet Joux Plane is likely going to sit right at the top of the rankings for luxury chalets in Morzine and for this reason it is coming straight into our Ultimate Luxury Chalets collection. The term “James Bond Chalet” has been widely bounded around recently and we feel that Chalet Joux Plane is well worthy of this status.
Situated on the Col de Joux Plane which in the summer connects Morzine and Samoëns, the chalet boasts uninterrupted views over the Morzine and the surrounding valley. The party piece in the chalet is the 23 metre indoor/outdoor swimming pool which we believe to be the longest in the Portes du Soleil area.
Chalet Joux Plane has been built without constraint from its inception with featuring being added as the project was still coming along. Chalet Joux Plane will be able to accommodate 10 adults and 4 children across 6 stunning suites, one of which being the family suite which has an adjoining quad bunk room.
