Whether your intention is building business relationships, entertaining clients, impressing potential new partners or thanking existing staff for their efforts over the year, a unique location with great service standards and impeccable food (not to mention unlimited alcohol) combined with luxury facilities offering the wow factor, will be the key to any trip being a resounding success. And what better way to thank or impress colleagues by renting one of our best corporate ski chalets in the European Alps? These indulgent corporate ski properties pride themselves on creating an experience that nobody can forget. With special touches such as in house ski and boot fitting services, private ski guiding, champagne picnics on the slopes and plenty of non-skiing team building activities, a luxury corporate ski weekend or weeks’ stay is a no brainier!
Here we list five sociable ski resorts perfect for corporate hospitality….
The glacier resort of Tignes is widely regarded as one of the best ski regions in the Alps due to its amazing snow record. It is just a 40 minute drive from Val d’Isere over the mountain and together they make up the renowned Espace Killy, named after 1968 Winter Olympic gold medalist, Jean-Claude Killy. The journey from Geneva airport takes over 2.5 hours, but it is worth it!
With the Grande Motte Glacier and over 300km of piste, you are able to ski in Tignes for up to 10 months of the year and winter ski slopes are open from October through until the beginning of May. If you are planning corporate hospitality and are looking for a snow sure resort then Tignes is the one. In our opinion, it is a resort for the more intermediate and hardcore skiers, but you always have the very healthy apres and nightlife to pass time for anyone not so interested in skiing. Favourites include Saloon Bar, Grizzly’s and The Melting Pot if you have any corporate clients or work colleagues able to party until 4am!
This idyllic chalet occupies an incredible position next to the Almes piste, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding peaks which can be viewed from the outdoor hot tub or one of the chalet’s many terraces or balconies.
The spacious open plan living and dining area is situated on the second floor; soft lighting, clean lines and natural wood create a haven of sophistication. The focal point of the room is the beautiful Lorenzo Quinn sculpture which sits in front of the far window against the dramatic backdrop of the Le Grand Sassière mountain range.
Chalet Opale can be rented with neighbouring Chalet Ambre as one large Chalet (interconnected via the garage area) and is certainly one of the more impressive luxury chalet complexes in all of Tignes. Why not impress your staff with a last minute corporate ski break?
Chalet de la Cloche is situated in the charming hamlet of Tignes Les Brevieres. From the resort you are linked into the rest of Tignes and Val d’Isere so accessing some of the most incredible ski pistes in the world.
With a Boutique Hotel feel, De La Cloche is perfect for corporate groups wanting their own personal space throughout the chalet. There is a self-contained apartment on the ground floor alongside the fantastic spa area with swim-spa, steam room and outdoor cedar hot tub. All bedrooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms, plasma screen televisions and balconies offering awe-inspiring views across the snow-capped mountains.
The service and cuisine standards are exceptional, offering corporate clients a unique experience rivalling that of any Michelin star restaurant! There is also a fantastic ice driving circuit for non-skiing corporate entertainment.
Val d’Isere has just as much to offer (if not more) as its neighbouring friend Tignes and with more luxury chalets in the resort than any other, it is one of the most popular corporate ski holiday destinations in Europe.
The resort dates back to the 13th Century and is considered by many to be the world’s premier luxury ski resort. It is a hard ski resort to fault, offering some of the best skiing anywhere together with exciting and lively après ski. For this reason it is a firm favourite amongst the affluent, the 20-somethings, the big ski enthusiasts and is popular with the Scandinavians, The British, and of course the French.
Bonus – Val d’Isere also has a Folie Douce! For anyone not familiar with the world famous apres bar, I would recommend investigating, it won’t take long before you are itching to take your work pals to this vibrant resort.
The ultimate corporate ski trip wouldn’t be the same without Chalet Le Rocher! As you approach the chalet, its sheer scale is breathtaking and you find yourself in awe of its grandeur, illuminated by dazzling chandeliers, the intricately carved door frame from Afghanistan and the swimming pool that can be seen through the panoramic window. And that is before you have even entered the chalet!
Sleeping 14 guests in comfort, other facilities include a steam room, massage treatment room, gym, solairum, hot tub on the terrace, a grand piano for sing-a-longs and an even grander dining table for corporate entertainment or meetings.
St Anton’s ski area is vast, covering not only St. Anton’s own mountains but also the neighbouring villages of St Christoph, Lech and Zürs. Although only 1 hour from Innsbruck airport, the resort still managed to retain a very traditional alpine feel. The cosmopolitan atmosphere of this famous village also ensures plenty of activities off the piste with a multitude of lively bars, excellent restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities.
In fact, it is known as the ultimate in ski apres resorts and therefore a must on the corporate entertainment wish list. Famous apres hot spots include the Mooserwirt, Kandahar Bar and the Swedish owned Krazy Kanguruh!
Eden Rock is a brand new chalet complex in the A-list apres resort and has been built by an award winning architect to combine traditional local styling with a contemporary sleek finish.
Sleeping a total of 20 guests across 10 spacious and relaxing bedroom suites, Eden Rock is the perfect chalet for large groups or corporate trips as although it is split into three self-contained apartments allowing for privacy, it has a communal bar and dining area for everyone to socialise together in the evenings.
A highlight of the property is also the luxurious wellness area that resides in the lower part of the building. There is a pool with whirlpool and a counter current, sauna, steam room and gym for socialising together.
Just over 2 hours from Geneva and 45 mins from Sion Airport, Verbier prides itself on world-class skiing, a lively social and apres scene and plenty of non-skiing activities such as heli-skiing, making it is easy to see why it is one of the leading resorts for luxury corporate ski trips.
The resort lies in a sunny, south-facing bowl with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. It is the largest resort of the “4 Vallées” ski region with over 400km of piste and is known to have some of the most challenging yet rewarding skiing in the Alps alongside a collection of the best luxury chalets.
Verbier’s nightlife is as legendary as its skiing, and there’s something for everyone. Favourite hang outs include Pub Mont Fort, Offshore Bar which has a baby pink VW beetle in the middle of the room, and Le Farinet on the Place Centrale has established itself as the most popular spot in town!
Legendary business tycoon Sir Richard Branson owns and operates this beautiful luxury chalet in Verbier and well if it’s good enough for Richard, we say it’s good enough for you!

As you can imagine, The Lodge is used to welcome corporate clients from all over the world and the chalet can be rented throughout winter or summer. Prices include full gourmet catering, an open bar and 24 hour in-resort chauffeur service.
Featured in this blogs opening photographs, No.14 is arguably one of the largest and most unique free standing chalets in Verbier. Formerly the Hotel Les Rois Mages, the chalet sleeps 26 guests in 13 en-suite twin/double bedrooms perfect for a corporate group looking at luxury ski weekends. One of the highlights is the spa area featuring a 10m swimming pool, steam room, cold plunge pool and large Jacuzzi plus treatment rooms for massages and beauty treatments.

For a totally unique experience like no other, the super efficient and eco-friendly Swiss resort of Zermatt is said to be the ultimate ski holiday destination to visit in a lifetime.
In Winter, Zermatt has 350km of groomed pistes and with the Matterhorn ski paradise being the highest skiing area in the alps, it is also the only resort where you can actually ski 365 days of the year. The slopes are renowned for exceptional gourmet restaurants and bars.
Being a car free resort, the charming holiday experience really begins on the train from Geneva/Zurich with breath-taking scenery taking visitors into Zermatt’s cobbled village centre. Here you will find quirky electro-taxis or even a horse drawn carriage to magically whisk you to your chosen luxury Zermatt accommodation. For non-skiers there are plenty of other activities and just walking around the village, there is enough history to keep you entertained until your work colleagues have skied the day away and come to meet you from the slopes. And of course no mention of Zermatt can be signed off without mentioning the infamous Matterhorn!
Chalet Grace sleeps 10 adults across five en-suite bedrooms and is built to the highest standard, featuring floor to ceiling windows on all three levels and a dramatic vaulted interior. South facing balconies capture the breathtaking scenic views of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains.
The highly experienced team attend finishing school each year in Zermatt, which includes modules delivered by Jane Urquhart. Staff include trained mixologists and Michelin Star trained chefs for your ultimate gourmet experience.
Facilities include an outdoor hot tub, yoga/pilates space, sauna, cinema room and games room with pool table and gambling table! There is also a raised dining table seating up to 14 guests perfect for alpine meetings.
The chalet is based on an old Valais house dating from the 1940s, which Heinz has modernised and extended by two storeys in line with the chalet nature of the building. This extension provides a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view over the village and the Matterhorn.
At the press of a button the roof of this chalet opens and a whirlpool is hydraulically lifted above the roof! The view from above the chalet is truly breathtaking, making the experience unlike any other you can find in Zermatt.
