I am not alone in wanting to pass my skiing passion to my children, lots of parents do. But when you try to choose the ideal family ski holiday that will keep everyone happy, you have to consider many factors. Choosing your chalet company carefully is one thing and your childcare another. And this is where you can’t afford a gamble, especially if you are only having one family ski holiday a season.

Merinannies was created with this in mind, so for the last (almost) 10 years we have been trying our very best to create a tailor-made, quality and flexible private nanny services for skiing and snowboarding families. We now cover some of the most popular family resorts that we have liked and the children love too. This means we base ourselves where there are high quality accommodation options, as well as activities to entertain everyone.

This season our nannies are based in Meribel, Courchevel, La Tania, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Chamonix, Megeve, St Gervais, Samoens, Morillon, St Anton and Ischgl.

We select our nannies carefully, they are qualified, experienced, SEN trained and many are multilingual too. But most importantly they have a warm personality and love children. They can’t wait to be in resort to play with our little clients in the snow, take them out on rides or play in the warmth of their chalet, singing, baking and reading and acting out stories. Our nannies meet and greet our families on arrival so they know what the children like and plan an activity menu for everyone.

So if you’re heading off to chillier climes this winter with the little ones and hoping for some much needed adult time, Merinannies is on hand to ensure everyone gets the most out of their holiday.

Children are welcome from 4 weeks to 14 years of age on either a full or part time basis during daytime or evening hours depending on your personal needs. Ratios are age based to ensure maximum care for your little ones: one nanny for two children under 2 years of age, one nanny for three children over 3 years of age and one nanny for four children over the age of 4. We offer care for a few hours, day/s or whole week as well as seasonal placements.
